TOPIC: The Mind – Where Battles Are Lost Or Won (Seeds Of Destiny 1 April 2024)

SCRIPTURE: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. – Proverbs 23:7

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You lose or win every battle of your life from your mind.

MESSAGE:

I welcome you to the Month of April, the fourth month of the year, 2024, our year of Above-Only Existence.

In this season, you shall rise and take your place at the top, in Jesus’ Name. In a season of gross darkness and economic holocaust, it is very important to know that one of the places that require very serious attention is the mind. This is because the mind has the capacity to make a person either a victim or a victor in hard times. So, our mind and what goes into it must be given serious attention so we can live above the climate of the world.

Now, why is the mind very important to our victory or defeat in life? I will give you two reasons in our study today:
i. The mind is the battlefield of the redeemed.
The mind is the battlefield of the redeemed.
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says:
… For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations …
We must give attention to our mind because the battles of life begin from the mind. You lose or win every battle of your life from your mind.

ii. Battles may be fought with weapons, but they are won from the mind (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).
David killed Goliath in his mind before he killed him physically with his weapon. This was confirmed when he told Goliath:
This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee …
1 Samuel 17:46.

David, first of all, killed Goliath in his mind. The physical weapons, a stone and a sling, in the hands of David that were used to kill Goliath physically only executed the death of Goliath that had already taken place in the mind of David.

So, battles may be fought with weapons, but they are won with strategies which are products of the mind.

Beloved, I counsel you to give serious attention to your mind. You must have a winning mentality to experience a winning reality in life.

REMEMBER THIS: You lose or win every battle of your life from your mind.

ASSIGNMENTS:

Always give attention to your mind; watch what enters your mind. Always cultivate a winning mentality to experience winning in your life every day. Renovate your mind with the Word to experience daily victories.

PRAYER: Lord, I receive the grace and discipline to renew my mind with Your Word every day. I reject every form of timid and defeated mindset, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
