Portugal manager, Fernando Santos, has hailed the Black Stars of Ghana, saying they are a very well-organized team.
Santos also gave his verdicts on Ronaldo’s recent exit from Manchester United, insisting that the news will not distract the Portugal team.
Recall that Ronaldo parted ways with Manchester United just days before Portugal’s World Cup opening game against Ghana on Thursday evening.
“This [Ronaldo’s exit from Man United] is something that has not even been discussed,” Santos said at the pre-game press conference ahead of Portugal’s tie with Ghana.
“This conversation has not come up at any moment, not even from him.”
Santos added, “Ghana is a very well-organized team. Their game against Switzerland showed that. African teams have a lot of talent and unpredictability and are always improving tactically. Today they are much more complete teams.”
