The Super Falcons of Nigeria have crashed out of the 2024 Paris Olympics without a win after losing 3-1 to Japan to make it three losses in three games.Nigeria lost their first two games against Brazil and Spain, but went into Wednesdays match hoping to make it to the quarter-finals of the womens football event of the Olympics.In Wednesday's clash, Japan scored twice in the opening minutes after Hamano Maika scored first before Tanako Mainas well-taken free-kick beat Chiamaka Nnadozie in the 32nd minute.The Japanese girls wrapped up the victory with another goal by Hikaru Kitagawa after Jennifer Echegini thought she had given the Nigerians a lifeline when she put one back.Nadeshiko Japan finished as Group B runner-up, two points behind World Champions, Spain who beat Brazil 2:0.The post
