TOPIC: Crossover At The Cross Of Calvary (Seeds Of Destiny 30 March 2024)

SCRIPTURE: When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. John 19:30.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The Cross of Calvary is the crossover for humanity; it is the crossover from disaster to distinction, from calamity to possibility.

MESSAGE:

It has been established that the greatest blessing that ever happened to humanity was the
Blessing of the Cross of Calvary. There is Blessing and Power in the Death of Jesus Christ. Jesus bled so we can be blessed.

The Cross of Calvary is the crossover for humanity; it is the crossover from disaster to distinction, from calamity to possibility.

The Cross of Calvary was the place of exchange where we took His strength and surrendered our weakness.

The truth is, there can be no Christianity without the Cross; there is no church without the Cross.

Now, I will highlight few things that Jesus took away from us on the Cross of Calvary.

i. He carried our transgression and our iniquity (Isaiah 53:6).
Jesus took away man’s transgression on the Cross and gave us His Righteousness. He took from us what would have taken us to hell.

ii. He took our affliction and infirmity (Isaiah 53:4).
Jesus took our sicknesses and diseases and gave us His Health. By his stripes, we were healed (Isaiah 53:5).

iii. He took our oppression and captivity.
He took anything that was the reason for bondage. He took and nullified every ancestral, generational and witchcraft curse over our lives (Colossians 2:13).

iii. He took our rejection and inferiority.
He was rejected so we could be accepted (Ephesian 1:6)
Anyone purchased by the Blood of Jesus is inferior to no one on earth. The Cross is a deadly blow to inferiority complex and the spell of rejection.

iv. He took our frustration and depression.
No one has the right to be depressed anymore because Jesus took our depression and frustration on the Cross of Calvary.

Beloved, do not bear again what Jesus has taken away from you. Use the Power of the Cross and of the Blood of Jesus Christ to deal with anything Jesus had already taken that is trying to manifest in your life. Jesus had taken them away; they are no longer yours.

Remember this: The Cross of Calvary is the crossover for humanity; it is the crossover from disaster to distinction, from calamity to possibility.

ASSIGNMENT:

Refuse to bear in your life again any negative thing Jesus had already taken away on the Cross. Use the power of the Cross to deal with every sin, sickness, curse, affliction, depression or rejection manifesting in your life.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank You for the revelation of Your Word to me today. I reject in my life, any negative thing You already took away from me on the Cross, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
