Emdee Tiamiyu, a Nigerian, claimed on BBC in May of this year that Nigerians who migrate to the UK for master’s programmes are not seeking new education, but rather to start new lives abroad.

His antics drew harsh criticism from Nigerians who were upset that he embarrassed their nation on live TV.

First and foremost, being patriotic is crucial for Nigerians, especially when dealing with oyibo people

Simply put, Emdee’s remarks were incredibly foolish!

However, me and you reading this know that rhe bulk of Nigerians who travel to nations like the United Kingdom have other reasons for doing so. The country is too difficult, and people are looking for any way to JAPA!!!!

So, indeed, there must be something many Nigerians dislike about Nigeria.
