Bendel Insurance took to X to celebrate their President Federation Cup Round of 64 victory over Stormers FC.
The Benin Arsenals defeated the Nigeria National League side 1-0 at the Area 3 field in Abuja on Wednesday.
Chukwudi Meze’s 61st-minute strike earned Monday Odigie’s side a place in the next round of the competition.
Bendel Insurance, reacting to the victory on their X handle, wrote: “Hard-earned victory for us at the Area 3 Field, Abuja. We zoom into the round of 32, thanks to Chukwudi Meze’s goal.”
Bendel Insurance’s next opponents in the competition will be decided after the completion of the Round 64 games on Thursday.
