Di latest report wey di National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) release don show say inflation rate for Nigeria jump enta 24.08% for July.

Dis one na increase from di inflation rate of 22.79% wey dem record for June.

Di report still show say di July 2023 headline inflation rate wey show increase of 1.29 per cent points wen dem compare am to June 2023 headline inflation rate.

On top year-on-year mata, di headline inflation rate na 4.44% points as e high pass di rate for July 2022 wey be 19.64%.

According to dis report,on top month-on-month mata, food inflation rate go up reach 26.985 for July 2023, wey dey show 1.73% point increase from di 25.25% wey dey for June and 4.79% points wey high pass di 22.02%wey dem record for dis same period for 2022 on top year-on-year mata.

Dis report show say na increase in di price of Oil and fat, Bread and cereals,Fish, Potatoes, Yam and oda tubers, Fruits, Meat, Vegetable, Milk, Cheese, and Eggs. 

Di report also show say di increase wey high pass na for di price of transport by Air and road, vehicle spare parts, medical services, maintenance and repair of personal moto.
