A critical incident has been declared affecting a number of hospitals in central London.

Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust announced the critical incident to its staff via an alert this afternoon.

According to the Trust's message, an IT incident is causing intermittent connectivity issues.

This failure is affecting Guy's Hospital, St Thomas' Hospital and Evelina London Children's Hospital.

The trust have been approached for a comment.
