It was also stated that the couple grew apart after Guardiola’s managerial roles in different countries over the past five years.
The decision to divorce was made in December, with only close friends and family initially aware of the situation.
The couple met in 1994 and tied the knot in 2014 near Barcelona.
They have three children together, Maria, 24, Marius, 22, and Valentina, 17.
Recall that Pep signed a new two-year deal with the Premier League champions in November, extending his tenure through 2027, despite speculation that he might leave Manchester City at the end of his contract.
