The Yankwashi Local Government Legislative Council has impeached its Leader, Junaidu S. Gabas.
The Legislative Clerk of the council, Jamilu Maigari stated this in a statement issued to DAILY POST.
He said eight councilors voted for the Leader removal.
Jamilu Maigari explained that the Leader was removed from his position following acts inimical to the government and the APC.
He said a new Leader, Gali Aliyu has been elected and sworn-in.
