A woman was expelled from her matrimonial residence after she refused to withdraw the defilement case against her brother-in-law, who sexually assaulted her 8-year-old daughter.

Kenyan activist Njeri Wa Migwi shared this information in a post on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

She mentioned that the father of the victim is also advocating for dropping the case against his brother, favoring a resolution of the matter within the family.
