Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney, has provided Taiwo Awoniyi tips on how he can improve his game.
Awoniyi is currently one of the highly rated strikers in the English top-flight.
The striker has proven his class this season despite missing large chunks of the campaign with injury.
The Nigeria international has scored twice for Nottingham Forest since returning from injury last month.
Rooney however believes the striker can offer more goal threat.
“As a forward, if you put yourself in the middle of the goal, you will get chances,” he told Nottingham Post.
“He needs to take a little bit more care and perhaps make the extra pass, but he will get better opportunities.
“He has to be ready when those chances come. If he progresses to a bigger club, he will have to be taking those chances.”
