EPL: Bassey nominated for Fulham’s March Player of the Month

Super Eagles defender, Calvin Bassey is up for Fulham’s Player of the Month for March, DAILY POST reports.

Bassey is nominated alongside three of his teammates, Andreas Pereira, Joao Palhinha and Rodrigo Muniz.

The winner will be decided by fans’ votes on the club’s social media.

The 24-year-old played every minute of Fulham’s five games in April, the only centre-back to do so.

Marco Silva’s side recorded one, one draw and three defeats.

Bassey, who joined Fulham from Eredivisie giants Ajax last summer has scored once in 29 appearances across all competitions for the Cottagers this season.
