Father and young son d!e as building collapses in Jigawa

A 30-year-old man and his two-year-old son were k!lled when a building collapsed on them in Madabe village, Buji Local Government Area of Jigawa State. According to the Buji councils Information Officer, Ali Safiyanu, the 25-year-old mother of the boy survived the incident. Mr Safiyanu said Monday, August 12, that the surviving mother is responding to treatment at an undisclosed hospital. He explained that the building collapse occurred on Sunday night, August 11, during a downpour. Badaruddeen Tijjani, the spokesperson of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) in the state, also confirmed the incident. Mr Tijjani said an investigation had since commenced into the incident. The post Father and young son d!e as building collapses in Jigawa appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
