Manchester United midfielder, Casemiro, has suffered an ankle injury while on international duty.
Casemiro was forced off with 11 minutes left in Brazil’s 1-1 draw with Venezuela on Thursday evening.
The Selecao are set to face Uruguay on Tuesday night, but the 31-year-old is not expected to feature.
Speaking after the Venezuela match, Brazil’s head coach Fernando Diniz said: “Casemiro asked to come off due to a blow to his ankle.”
Casemiro has started all eight of United’s Premier League fixtures so far this season.
