Edo government declares Friday work-free day
The Edo State Government has declared Friday, September 20, a work-free day to allow workers and other citizens to travel to their voting areas in preparation for the governorship election scheduled for Saturday, September 21. In a statement issued by Joseph Eboigbe, Secretary to the Edo State Government (SSG), the government reassured the public that comprehensive security measures have been put in place to ensure a free, fair, and credible election. Its hereby announced for the information of the general public that the Edo State Government has declared Friday, September 20, a work-free day.
