Demmie Vee - Vini Vidi Vici

Demmie Vee comes through with a new tune, a latino-pop with an Afro vibe dubbed “Vini Vidi Vici”.

Talented Nigerian Singer Demmie Vee has released a brand new single titled “Vini Vidi Vici”, a Latin Phrase which translates to “I came; I saw; I conquered“. The single is his first release of the new year 2020, and a follow up to his EP Dubbed Ojoro.

Veni, vidi, vici which means  “I came; I saw; I conquered” is a Latin phrase popularly attributed to the ruler Julius Caesar who used the phrase in a letter after he had achieved a quick victory in his short war. The phrase is used to refer to a swift, conclusive victory.

Demmie Vee’s journey to stardom is quite impressive. After stealing the heart of music lovers with tracks like “Tiff,” “Surulere” and his feature on Falz’s “Hypocrite“, Demmie Vee has definitely come to stay.  However, after the controversy that transpired between him, the record label he was signed to and the boss of the record label, Kizz Daniel. Demmie Vee alleged that Fly Boys Inc and Kizz Daniel had reneged on his contract and he even went as far as accusing them of sabotaging his songs. He later went back in his former record label, Hope Never Dies (HND Records) and since then he hasn’t stopped dishing out hits.

“Vini Vidi Vici”  is one of these hits as he tells his fans that he has conquered it all and is here to stay. Demmie says he’s a son of mercy that would never fade away even if haters do their thing.
