Dele Momodu Reacts After Watching A Video Where South African President Allegedly Snubbed Tinubu

Dele Momodu, founder of Ovation Magazine, has addressed a video circulating on social media that appeared to show South African President Cyril Ramaphosa seemingly ignoring President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Tinubu attended Ramaphosa’s inauguration in South Africa, and the incident was captured on video. In the footage, which Momodu shared on his Facebook page, Ramaphosa greeted other leaders and shook their hands. However, when it was Tinubu’s turn, Ramaphosa appeared to skip over him.

Momodu responded to the incident, stating that while it is possible that Ramaphosa did greet Tinubu, the interaction may have been brief or the camera angle may not have captured it clearly. However, he expressed concern about Tinubu’s placement during the event.

“I think President Cyril Ramaphosa greeted President Bola Ahmed Tinubu but perhaps it was too short or the camera angle didn’t capture the moment well,” Momodu wrote on his page. “But I’m not happy about how he was tucked behind. His handlers need to be more assertive without being aggressive. They must request and demand where they want him to stand or sit ahead of time or he won’t attend.”
