BURSTED!!!! Kaduna Police Arrest Three ATM Fraud Suspects, Recover 54 Stolen Cards

Kaduna State Police have arrested three suspects involved in ATM card-swapping fraud.

The suspects, Umar Ya’u, Abdullahi Bukar, and Hussaini Sulaiman, were caught loitering around ATM machines, pretending to help users, only to swap their cards and make unauthorized withdrawals.

The police recovered 54 ATM cards and a POS machine from the suspects, who admitted to defrauding multiple victims across Kano, Kaduna, and Zaria.

In his words;

“In doing so, they would deceitfully swap the victims’ ATM cards, allowing them to carry out unauthorised withdrawals.”

“54 ATM cards of different banks and a POS machine were recovered from the suspects, which they confessed to getting from defrauding multiple victims across Kano, Kaduna, and Zaria”

The police urged the public to be cautious of unsolicited help at ATMs and report any suspicious activity immediately.
