Kulen Allah Cattle Rearers Association of Nigeria (KACRAN) has tasked the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, Barrister Nyesom Wike to avoid vindictive policies and actions that may victimize political opponents.

The group, through its National President, Hon. Khalil Mohammed Bello, gave the charge in a statement signed and made available to newsmen on Tuesday.

KACRAN also urged the minister to treat all citizens with equity, justice, and fairness.

“We at KACRAN believe that President Tinubu’s decision to appoint Barrister Wike, the first Southerner to hold this position, is a significant step towards fostering unity and understanding among Nigerians.

“Barrister Wike’s appointment symbolizes a new strategy to strengthen the mutual relationship and brotherhood among Nigeria’s confederating units”, the statement stressed.

It urged the Minister to continue to remain open to constructive criticism and to consider it as an opportunity for growth rather than a personal attack.

“We also urge him to remember that his role as FCT Minister is one of the most sensitive positions in Nigeria, given the diverse interests of Nigerians in the city of Abuja.

“This opportunity, which usually comes once, should be utilized judiciously and transparently, in order to leave behind a legacy of progress and unity”, KACRAN urged.

The statement called on all stakeholders to support Wike in his mission to deliver his best for the benefit of Nigeria and her people.
