2024 NBA playoffs championship odds: Celtics, Nuggets favored to battle for title

The 2024 NBA playoffs begin this weekend with the final games of NBA play-in tournament set for Friday night. These two games will determine the opponents for the top two seeds in the East and the West. In the East, the Boston Celtics await the winner of Friday night's Miami Heat-Chicago Bulls matchup. Meanwhile in the West, the Oklahoma City Thunder will face the winner of the game between the Sacramento Kings and the New Orleans Pelicans.

The other settled first-round matchups include the New York Knicks versus the Philadelphia 76ers, Orlando Magic versus the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Milwaukee Bucks versus the Indiana Pacers in the East, while in the West the Phoenix Suns face the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Los Angeles Lakers will battle against the defending champion Denver Nuggets and the LA Clippers take on the Dallas Mavericks.

The NBA Finals will begin June 6 on ABC.
